The projects "Rost und Staub" and "Pech und Schwefel" are about the emancipation of fairytale characters from the same old clichés and platitudes in the fairytale world.

Both projects were implemented with TouchDesigner and Kinect or PoseNet.

"Rost und Staub" was developed as a classroom play in 2023 and performed in schools and theaters across Hamburg. Two fairies have to clean up the fairy tale archive and use a magical machine to do so. We created the "Märchenspieglinator 2000" which allows the children themselves to step onto a magic carpet to bring various characters to life and reinterpret them through their movements.

"Pech und Schwefel" was realized in 2022 as a play development at the Moks (Theater Bremen). We created an installation that allows children's drawings to be placed in a magical oven and brought to life by the actors using movement tracking.
