The VR project “Klima-ACT!” showcases the impacts of climate change on the city of Hamburg in 2050. Participants find themselves in a garden where they can either work together to protect it from an approaching storm or observe the unfolding scenario from an interactive swing. Enhanced by smart textiles and hand tracking, users physically experience the intensity of the extreme weather.
Developed in collaboration with HAW Hamburg and Exit Games, and funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, we were responsible for the technical development and design of Klima-ACT!.
